More than 4,000 students visit us each year to learn about the problem of homelessness from volunteers and people who have lived in the street.
It is an important part of prevention and awareness, which serves to familiarize an unknown reality and break down stereotypes.

If you are based in the city of Barcelona and can’t come to us, we can come to you to explain what Arrels does and the causes that lead to a person living on the street. Whenever possible, a person who has lived in the street will also come to share their experience.

Every month, we offer a talk, for students and anyone interested, to ask questions about the problem of homelessness and the work Arrels does to try to lessen the problem.

If you are visiting Barcelona, take a tour that leaves a mark on the city. You will go with Hans, who lived on the street for two years and he will tell you about the places homeless people use to eat or seek shelter.
